FAQs

» Bracelet Sizing:

Bracelet size is listed in the description of each individual bracelet style. If you would like a different size, please make a note of this at checkout so I can customise your bracelet for you.

All bracelets are measured against a bracelet mandrel to ensure accuracy of size.

To work out your perfect fit:

If you have a tailor's tape measure, wrap it around your wrist where you would like the bracelet to sit and then tighten or loosen it to get your desired fit. Mark the size and pick a bracelet size to match.

Alternatively, you could use a piece of ribbon or string and do the same thing. After marking the size, measure the ribbon/string against a ruler to get your desired fit.

E.g. My wrist size is just over 6 inches so I wear 6.5 inch bracelets for a comfortable fit and 6.75 inch bracelets for a looser fit (or if I want to stack a few bracelets).

If you require additional support to ensure your perfect fit, feel free to send me an email.

» What makes Gypsea Jewel Studio different?

There are a few things that I believe make Gypsea Jewel Studio different:

- Experience

I first fell in love with creating mala necklaces and bracelets in 2017 under my first small business (which later grew to encompass my love of crystals and candles). I created Gypsea Jewel Studio in 2022 to continue my passion for beadwork.

- Quality

All of the gemstones I use are A-AAA graded. I will always choose quality over quantity.

- Divinely Unique

I will rarely make the same mala necklace twice. That way you can be assured that your mala is as unique as you are.

- Vegan Friendly

Traditional malas are strung on silk thread and are finished with a silk tassel. Given silk is derived from the cocoons of silkworm larvae, I prefer to use vegan-friendly nylon for hand-knotting my malas. Nylon is also much more durable and is less inclined to stretch over time. I also use two threads of nylon in each mala to provide further strength. My tassels are created using cotton thread.

- Handcrafted

All of my jewellery is lovingly handcrafted by me in my home studio in small batches to ensure they receive the attention to detail they, and you, deserve.

- Blessed Be

Each bead is separated by a knot which is tied with the Om Namah Shivaya mantra, meaning ‘I honor the divinity within myself’. When you wear or use your Gypsea Jewel Studio mala you are reminding yourself of the divine energy you have within yourself.

- Wrapped With Love

All orders are cleansed and infused with reiki energy before they are beautifully gift-wrapped in tissue paper, placed into a reusable organic cotton bag and sent on their journey home to you.
